THE BLACK STRAWBERRY
To launch Puerto de Indias in the UK, we positioned the brand as a bold challenger in an oversaturated category. While competitors leaned into the safe, predictable aesthetic of “pink wallpaper,” Puerto broke convention with a strikingly unisex and unconventional identity.
At the heart of the campaign was the line “It’s not pink, it’s Puerto”—an ‘anti-pink’ statement brought to life through the brand’s signature black strawberry. This distinctive creative platform introduced the UK to a darker, more sophisticated expression of flavour and style, cutting through the noise with elegance and edge.
The work was celebrated within the industry, earning a shortlist at the Social Buzz Awards 2019.
